I have been seeing Stephen Opper regularly since I moved to Asheville. I cannot speak too highly of of him. He has a through understanding of anatomy, and an incredible ability to isolate muscles and tendons for deep tissue work. He also practices cranio-sacral therapy, Thai medical massage and Qi-gong healing.
His wife Christine, is a highly accomplished massage therapist who is perfect someone who prefers a slightly lighter touch. Her style is deep tissue, but not as intense as Stephen's. I have no doubt they will be the perfect tonic to keep you dancing all weekend! 1/2 hour $35 /1 hour $65. (This benefits the dance, so please consider that in your tip!)
