Contra's Hottest New Property - Perpetual eMotion

Perpetual eMotion stormed the contra dance community and quickly became the hottest new contra dance band! It is almost impossible to believe two men can make that much music - but Ed Howe on electric fiddle and John Cote on guitar and foot percussion and didgeredoo - will knock your socks off!

A typical comment about Perpetual eMotion: "OMGGGGGG! Contra music? on? a WHOOOOOOLE new level!!!!!" Erin Brandt

Notorious!
Sparkling, lyrical and exhilarating! Contra dancers don't need to be told that Notorious musicians Eden MacAdam-Somer and Larry Unger present a thrilling musical experience. With Eden on fiddle and vocals and Larry on guitar and banjo, their music their performances are always new and exciting. They will be joined by Sam Bartlett on mandolin and percussionist, Taki Masuko.

At home in the worlds of both classical and popular music, Eden MacAdam-Somer is one of the most exciting and versatile young violinists and singers performing today. Titled “master guitarist” by Dirty Linen, Larry Unger has been a full-time musician since 1984 and has played with many top contra dance bands. Larry’s original waltzes and fiddle tunes have been played and recorded by musicians around the world.

Mandolinist Sam Bartlett has been playing music since he was 9, beginning with ill-fated adventures with the jaw harp and drumsticks, and finally settling into the mandolin, tenor banjo, and still, indeed, the jaw harp.
